The Australian bush is brutal, fire can come from any direction and you need to be ready for it. EmberAttack is one part of a larger solution to protect your home in a program of maintenance and prevention creating a waterfall from your gutters.
When water pressure is poor or non-existent—the times you need protection most - EmberAttack's closed-loop system keeps working. Your pre-filled collection bin becomes a lifeline, with water continuously pumped to your ridge line sprayers, flowing down across your entire roof to extinguish embers, then returning via your full gutters back to the bin. This efficient recirculation means you won't run out of water at the worst possible moment. Meanwhile, your main drinking water tanks remain protected and isolated, safe from contamination by fire retardants or chemicals. It's the system that works when traditional protection fails.

To install EmberAttack cut a 100mm section into your down pipe to install EmberAttack with the Watergate valve at a manageable height approximately 1200mm off the ground.

Once EmberAttack is installed into the downpipes make sure all joins are water proof using suitable pipe adhesives and silicone adhesives.
To create the Waterfall effect which back fills your gutters:-
The Waterfall system is more suitable where you have a permanent water supply like a big town or city that backs onto the bush and you can connect a garden hose and there is plenty of water.
EmberAttack protects your tanks by blocking water from reaching your drinking water tanks using the patented Watergate Valve.
The Sprinkler system is more suitable where you do not have a permanent water supply and you are on tank water.
Ember attack is the most common way houses catch fire during bushfires, occurring when wind carries burning debris (embers, twigs, leaves, bark) far ahead of the main fire, lodging in gaps, gutters, or on flammable materials around a home to ignite it, often before the fire front even arrives. My house has come under EmberAttack and it has many roof segments. A roof sprinkler system my neighbours have doesn’t deal with all segments and issues. Embers can settle under Solar Panels in corners that normal sprinklers don't get to. With EmberAttack system you place one sprinkler run on the ridge cap running the full length of the roof and have a seperate run line covering the solar panels and hidden corners and you do this for each roof segment.
